Yoshinoya Valley: A Taste of Japanese Fast Food Fusion

The classic Yoshinoya experience in a newer restaurant that looks like it was recently opened. Employees are friendly. Food is very tasty as always.

This chicken teriyaki dish was a delightful taste, and the vegetables bowl was a pleasant addition. However, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the portion size. The bowl was excessively filled with rice, resulting in a small portion of chicken and vegetables. I would appreciate it if the restaurant could be more fair in portion sizes in the future. Despite this minor issue, the overall service was excellent.

I often come to Yoshinoya and get orders of beef a la carte, beef only so I can meal prep. I didnt bother checking my order as it has never been incorrect but today I was given about 1/4 of what the order usually comes with. Is this the new size for beef only? I bought 5 orders at $6+ a piece. What a bummer.

I was concerned about this place after seeing the Yelp reviews, but my son insisted that we should try it. And I'm glad he did because the food is yummy. Well, it truly does not compare to the food in Japan, but I don't think it's fair to ask that of any fast food spot. The Gyudon Beef is delicious and the Teriyaki chicken is pretty good too. The portions of each are not a lot in the Combo, but I was still very full after eating it all. I'm a rice snob, and the rice is good here. Service was excellent. Ambiance is lacking, but also not fair to expect that here. I like this place and will be coming back.
